LP will triumph and seize control of Lagos, Rhodes-Vivour promises.

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party’s candidate for governor of Lagos State in 2023, has bragged that the party will not only win but also seize control of Lagos in 2027.

While answering questions from reporters during the Labour Party’s extended Stakeholders’ meeting in Umuahia, the state capital of Abia, Rhodes-Vivour boasted that the party had become more powerful in order to seize control of Lagos State.

He claims that the Labour Party has been planning and building on its victories since its dominant performance in Lagos during the 2023 presidential election, when it won all three of the former Nigerian capitals.

The party’s stakeholders met in Umuahia, and the former governorship contender expressed pleasure with the outcome, saying it had brightened the party’s future.

“LP is currently well structured, not just to win but to seize power in 2027,” he declared. What our purpose is in this place

“I think Lagos State will be won by the Labour Party more easily in 2027. We have not stopped working since the elections of 2023; neither have we become silent. We are growing stronger and stronger every day.

Therefore, we’re not just going to win; we’re going to assert our authority.

He charged the ruling All Progressives Congress, or APC, with mismanagement, claiming that the party’s dismal record has made it much simpler for the Labour Party to win both Lagos and the entire nation in 2027.

He claims that the severe economic suffering and rising rates of hunger throughout the nation are unmistakable evidence of the ruling party’s incompetence.
