YCE informs Tinubu that Nigerians are suffering

The Yoruba Council of Elders, or YCE, urged President Bola Tinubu to address the current suffering endured by Nigerians on Thursday while also expressing concern over the state of the country.

In a statement, the YCE’s General-Secretary, Chief Oladipo Oyewole, stated that while the organisation was optimistic about the country’s future, a lot of suffering is still occurring there at the moment.

“The YCE remains hopeful that Nigeria will have a turnaround,” the statement says.

Notwithstanding, based on the limited data pertaining to government initiatives and undertakings, a great deal of suffering is currently occurring throughout the nation.

Whatever the case, we at YCE remain steadfast in our belief that everyone’s right to a decent life deserves our undivided attention.

“Without a consistent supply of electricity and following the formal announcement of a hike in the price of petroleum products (PMS), Nigerians’ everyday struggles will only worsen.” The federal government should start looking into every option as soon as possible to provide our people with the benefits of democracy. Not by giving out palliative care (which doesn’t seem to filter to

Indeed, Nigerians are going through a great deal right now—they don’t have food, fuel, or light.

“The President ought to promptly go back to the drawing board in order to address the immediate and short-term needs of the Nigerian people, all the while pursuing the long-term goal of improving Nigeria as a hub for development and progress.”

“As Elders, YCE seeks immediate assistance for the people to improve Nigerian welfare so that everyone can live in peace and comfort.”

Regarding the Elders Council, a great deal of administrative labour by the government is (definitely) necessary for the majority of this nation’s citizens to live honourable and responsible lives.

“The current status of our country is like taking a harsh pill.

“The Bola Tinubu administration needs to act swiftly to guarantee that its plans to create and implement improved governance in Nigeria are properly guided.

“In fact, the Presidency ought to act immediately and without delay to lessen the suffering of every Nigerian.”
