Falana advises Tinubu to pursue individuals responsible for the SERAP office invasion.

The Federal Government has received a warning from Femi Falana, SAN, regarding the illegal takeover of offices, especially those belonging to human rights defenders.

Falana was responding to the personnel from the Department of State Services (DSS) breaking into the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) office in Abuja.

He implored President Bola Tinubu to bring charges against the invading group.

I disapprove of the SERAP office invasion.

“The officials who invaded SERAP’s headquarters in the name of the government must be immediately apprehended by the Tinubu administration.

“Those found guilty of the invasion must face legal action. In accordance with the Nigerian Constitution, the government must permit human rights advocates to freely carry out their job, Falana stated.
