Former CBN Deputy Governor Moghalu: Kamala won the debate, but Trump is expected to win the election.

A former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has commented on the debate between former president Donald Trump and vice president Kamala Harris in the US presidential race.

Using his X moniker, he posted on Wednesday.

Harris was underappreciated coming into the debate, according to Moghalu, who also added that Harris decisively won their last-night encounter with Trump.

The former deputy governor of CBN, however, asserted that the Electoral College will likely ensure Trump’s victory in the presidential contest.

In their debate with @realDonaldTrump last night, @KamalaHarris emerged victorious. She was undervalued going in, yet she excelled above expectations and was well-prepared. She made her points with composure, presidential manner, and precision. Mostly not the case with Trump. And he gave in to her tricks.

However, due of the Electoral College system, Trump would most likely still win if the election were held today. Until November, the race is still very close. Both candidates have a chance to win, but Harris has greater potential while Trump seems to have reached the end of his support base. On X, Moghalu wrote, “#Nailbiter.”
