NPFL announces the altered kickoff time for Heartland vs. Rivers United.

The Nigeria Premier Football League, or NPFL, has declared a new kickoff time for Rivers United and Heartland’s match on matchday two.

The game has been rescheduled for 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 15, at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.

Rivers United verified the revised kickoff time in a message posted on their X account.

The NPFL stated that the change was made to allow for the game’s live coverage.

“Due to live TV transmission in Nigeria, the kick-off time for our upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League matchday two tie against Heartland FC at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Sunday, 15 September has been changed,” the club announced on X.

In their first match in Benin, Rivers United and Bendel Insurance drew goallessly.
