Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal, claimed that no one will ever be able to steal his shine after receiving criticism from two unknown “rats” on TV.

Speaking, the Al-Nassr forward took aim at those who had been criticising him lately.

Remember that Ronaldo was recently criticised by commentators and supporters for his inability to lead Portugal to victory in the 2024 European Championship in Germany?

Portugal was ousted in the knockout stage of the Euro 2024, and the 39-year-old was unable to score a goal.

He was also urged to step down from the Portugal football squad in order to make place for younger players.

Ronaldo, though, stated the following regarding the developments on Rio Ferdinand Presents:

People tend to focus on the negative aspects rather than the positive ones. However, I will not complete my career due to the criticism I receive from two rats.

“The fans and the world both adore me.” This is what drives me to continue playing football. People adore me.

He went on, “No one is going to take away my shine because two people from TV that nobody knows criticise me.”
