Nigerian immigrant detained by Libyan police after fatally stabbing another countrymen during a fight

An African immigrant was detained in Libya’s Qarabolli city on Thursday, September 12, allegedly killing a fellow countryman during a violent fight.

Migrant Rescue Watch reports that after a fight, the suspect—who goes by M.A.S.—allegedly stabbed A.D.A. in the chest with a knife.

The victim passed away at the spot from his injuries, as the attack turned out to be lethal.

Migrant Rescue Watch verified in a statement made public via X on Thursday that M.A.S. was taken into custody by the Qarabolli police subsequent to receiving allegations of the event.

Presently detained, the accused is anticipated to be forwarded to the Public Prosecutor for additional legal actions.
