Yemi Olanrewaju, the technical adviser for Enyimba, thinks his club still needs to achieve a lot to qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

At the Mamadou Konatè Stadium on Friday, the People’s Elephant and Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso fought to a scoreless draw in the first leg of their second preliminary round match.

Next weekend, the second leg will take place in Uyo’s Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Yemi promised that in the second leg, the team will put in twice as much work.

“The work is not finished yet. Following the game, Yemi stated, “We can’t celebrate anything until we seal everything next weekend in Uyo,” as cited by BSN Sports.

There’s still a lot of work to be done for the time being. They are a respectable and competent team, but we had the tactical advantage and our strategy succeeded. To finish the task at hand, we must return home to get ready and put in more effort.
