Bill Gates, the CEO of Microsoft, has issued a warning, saying that another worldwide pandemic over the next 25 years is a very real possibility if the world manages to avoid going to war.

In an appearance with CNBC’s Make It program, Gates made this claim.

“A large conflict nowadays may be sparked by a great deal of dissent.

He quoted Fox News Digital when he stated, “Yes, there will be another pandemic if we avoid a big war, probably in the next 25 years.”

The story claims that Gates became one of the scientific community’s fearful members upon witnessing the lack of preparation for the COVID-19 pandemic and realising how the world may react if another pandemic struck.

Even though the origins of the coronavirus are yet unknown, specialists are certain that a pathogen might someday spread from animals to people and cause a novel disease.

Speaking on the United States, Gates told CNBC, “The country that the world expected to lead and be the model fell short of those expectations.”
