I’m happy that Rivers United defeated Heartland.

A former Super Eagles custodian, Peterside Idah, called Nigeria’s Rivers United of the Premier Football League “a fantastic team.”

Idah submitted his application following the matchday two victory of Rivers United over Heartland.

At the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt on Saturday, the former NPFL champions defeated Heartland 3-1 thanks to goals from Kabir Abdullahi and Taofeek Otaniyi.

The Rivers squad was outstanding, and it’s always fun to watch live football,” the football analyst commented on X.

Rivers United has won both of its season-opening games, collecting four points.

At the Lafia City Stadium, the Pride of Rivers will play the Lobi Stars next.
