After being released from custody, Sowore says, “My bag is still missing.”

Omoyele Sowore, the organiser of Revolution Now and the African Action Congress’s (AAC) 2023 presidential candidate, has sounded the alarm about his stolen suitcase.

A few hours after being freed from immigration custody at the Lagos State International Airport on Sunday, Sowore startled the public.

In a widely shared broadcast on Arise TV on Sunday night following his release, Sowore said that one of his suitcases was still missing.

He stated, “After they gave me back my seized passport, I went to get my bag,” in a video that is currently viral on social media. Naturally, one of my bags was gone. My large purse.

“Hopefully, the DSS did not take it. After contacting the airline to search for it, it is missing. According to the airline, the tracking app on my phone indicates that the suitcase has arrived from America. However, as I mentioned earlier, I hope they didn’t try to do something careless with my stuff.
