Sunny Onuesoke, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, has requested that the federal government led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dangote Refinery reach a mutually agreeable price agreement so that independent merchants can buy petroleum products from the refinery.
In a conversation with our journalist in Warri, Chief Onuesoke placed the call.
He claimed that the parties negotiating the price of petrol were still in the process of arranging backdoor deals.
Chief Onuesoke added that those with “sinister intentions” are ensuring that Nigerians bear the brunt of the country’s exorbitant fuel prices.
The parties involved in the entire process have a sinister intention of ensuring that Nigerians continue to suffer from the high cost of PMS, which has caused immense suffering for the people. If you look at the shenanigans, you would see some sort of backdoor arrangement.”
