Reduce your spending, Oba advises Sanwo-Olu’s assistant to Nigerians.

Nigerians have been advised by Biliamin Oba, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, to reduce their spending in order to cope with the current economic difficulties the nation is undergoing.

Oba delivered the counsel on Tuesday in Badagry during the 2024 International Youth Day event hosted by the NYCN, Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria.

Former NYCN Lagos Chairman Oba stated that all hands needed to be on deck due to the current state of affairs in the nation.

While we wait for things to stabilise, we must begin reducing our expenses.

“Everything has gone up; the cost of life and transit have both surged dramatically.

“We need to cut expenses. We must be frugal because the current circumstances have grown burdensome for us.

“I have no doubt that President Bola Tinubu has a fantastic plan for this nation, and Sanwo-Olu is working tirelessly to make sure Lagos continues to be the best place for everyone,” the speaker stated.

Ashade Abdulsalam was congratulated by Oba for putting up the program to educate the council’s youth.
