EPL: Guardiola outlines two aspects in which Arsenal surpasses Man City.

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, asserted that Arsenal’s players are taller than those in his team.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Guardiola added that the defensive transitions of the Gunners are quicker than the offensive ones of City.

The Spaniard was giving a sneak peek at the match at the Etihad on Super Sunday.

Guardiola stated he anticipates a matchup akin to the one that ended in a draw the previous season.

“I expect the game to be similar [to last season],” he stated.

“There are numerous ways to score goals in various situations. It’s difficult to see them from set pieces, but they are much taller than us.

Their defensive transitions happen more quickly than our offensive ones during the changeover.

“The strikers go to holding midfielders when we are able to set them back; they accumulate a lot of players.”
