Olumide Akpata, the Labour Party’s nominee for governor of Edo State, has already cast his ballot.

When Akpata arrived at polling place 11, ward 6, in the Oredo Local Government Area at around 10:30 a.m., she stated her happiness with the voting procedure and her want for it to be the same throughout the state.

As the voting process goes on, he said, his followers ought to be able to cast their votes.

Despite the rain that began in the state capital at around ten in the morning, voters turned out in significant numbers at the ward.
