Flying Eagles coordinator Abubakar, head of Gombe United, appointed

Malam Abubakar Abubakar (Yellow), general manager of Gombe United, has been named the new coordinator of the Flying Eagles.

Gombe United made the announcement of Abubakar’s hiring on social media.

As they get ready for the WAFU B U-20 Championship in Abuja, the Flying Eagles are doing so.

The team defeated Water FC of Abuja 1-0 in their first training game but fell 1-0 to Marlintarki in the second encounter.

The squad that will represent the zone at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations will be determined by the WAFU Championship.

The Nigeria Football Federation just named Aliyu Zubairu as the team’s new head coach, as the DAILY PULSE previously reported.

Zubairu and Abubakar were coworkers at Gombe United in 2023.
