Tragedy: Tinubu government is mocked by Joe Igbokwe, “Those who will save Nigeria are not yet born.”

Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has maintained that the people who will save Nigeria are yet to be born.

Igbokwe made the comment in response to the nation’s high food prices.

The APC leader expressed regret on Facebook, saying that a bag of rice now costs N100,000.

My wife just informed me that a bag of rice now costs more than N100,000 due to the numerous rice mills in Nigeria.

The men and women who will save this nation from self-inflicted suffering and sorrow are not yet born, he said, “without sounding immodest.”

Igbokwe, who is well-known for backing President Bola Tinubu, had expressed disapproval of several of the current administration’s policies last week.
