At the swearing-in ceremony of Justice Kudirat Olatokunbo Kekere-Ekun as the 23rd Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, held at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja, President Tinubu made this statement.
After the Senate confirmed Justice Kekere-Ekun, she was sworn in as the second female Chief Justice of Nigerian history.
Four past Federation chief justices, including the first female justice, Aloma Mukhtar, as well as the president of the Court of Appeal and other leaders of the judiciary divisions, were present at the occasion.
