8 Israeli soldiers were killed in Lebanon by Hezbollah.

Seven more Israeli troops lost their lives on Wednesday in fighting in southern Lebanon, according to the Israeli military.

According to CNN, there have been eight deaths since the offensive started. This is the most recent development.

The Israel Defence Forces, or IDF, reportedly stated that four troops and an officer from the Egoz Unit had suffered “severe injuries.”

However, the IDF did not specify where parts of southern Lebanon the troops died in.

The IDF reported the death of another soldier earlier on Wednesday.

Separate announcements from Hezbollah claimed that it has attacked Israeli forces in three distinct southern Lebanon villages.

According to the Lebanese army, Israeli forces crossed into Lebanon at a distance of 400 meters and quickly left.
