
The Federal Government has given 10 compressed natural gas buses to Kogi State for commercial usage in an effort to lower the cost of transportation as a result of the loss of fuel subsidies.
Additionally, the Federal Government started Kogi State’s free compressed natural gas conversion program.
The 10 buses supplied by the Tinubu administration will lower transportation costs in Kogi State by 40%, according to Michael Oluwagbemi, the Chief Executive Officer and Program Director of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas, who spoke at the occasion.
Nigerians now have the chance to profit from the rich resources they have been wasting for years, thanks to the debut of the compressed natural gas program. The most effective method to grow our economy is through the CNG project, he said.

urged Nigerians to exercise patience with the current government, pointing out that improvements are on the horizon.
We shouldn’t become like Venezuela, which is unable to feed its citizens or pay salaries. There are several difficulties that have emerged, such the high price of food. The President has expressed to all Nigerians that he understands our suffering and is taking action to buck the trend and bring down food costs.
Among them is the supply of CNG-powered automobiles to Nigeria. Mr President has instructed that we should have one of the world’s major CNG conversions in Nigeria. Within the following year, up to one million PMS vehicles would be switched to CNG, he stated.
Speaking on behalf of his deputy, Elder Joel Salifu, Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo said that his administration has embraced the federal government’s effort for environmentally friendly transportation in Kogi State.
