Senator Rabi’u Kwankwaso, the national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, said on Thursday that the ruling All Progressives Congress has become disoriented.

While welcome a few APC members to the NNPP from Kano’s Dala Local Government Area, Kwankwaso said that the APC had become disoriented and needed to be given the path out by 2027.

In order to bring this to pass, the NNPP presidential candidate for the general election of 2023 made a call to Nigerians to work together to make this a reality.

Leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, who has declared his intention to run for president once more in 2027, claimed his party has what it takes to implement the transformation that Nigerians have been waiting for.

He said that although the federal government of Nigeria, led by the APC, is causing serious hardship for Nigerians through what he called poor leadership, Kano State is being positively affected by the NNPP government, led by Governor Abba Yusuf, which is making extraordinary progress in both human and infrastructure development.

“I thank the people of Kano, especially the women and youths, for their continued support to our great party, the NNPP,” said Kwankwaso, speaking at his Miller Road mansion while welcoming the whole leadership structure of the APC in Dala, which fell into the NNPP.

“Today is a momentous day as our great party welcomed over 963 new members, led by the party chairman. That folks have finally seen the light makes us pleased. That people have discovered the truth and joined us makes us pleased. Since everyone who is anything in the political scene has joined the NNPP, we are happy that Dala is now totally Kwankwasiyya.

“They have realised their errors and are now being welcomed with open arms as they have found comfort in the NNPP.”Due to Nigerians’ unemployment and inflation brought on by the elimination of subsidies, the APC has lost its focus. It is time to make a shift.

“I’m pleading with our people in Kano, throughout northern Nigeria, and really with every Nigerian to reconsider.” Now is the time for us to take control of our own fate. For a better Nigeria, I urge everyone to join the NNPP.

Alhaji Sabiu Maialawayyo, the defectors’ spokesperson and the chairman of the APC in Dala Local Government, praised Kwankwaso for accepting them into the NNPP family and pledged to put in a lot of effort to ensure the NNPP continues to advance and flourish.

Maialawayyo, who called Kwankwaso a good leader, also pledged to follow him wherever, envisioning Kwankwaso as “the landlord in Aso Rock come 2027.”
