The AKISIEC Chairman did not address the inconsistent results for Essien Udim LGA as of this report. He was at the electoral body’s headquarters in Uyo presenting Certificates of Return to the newly elected chairmen.
PDP leaders in Akwa Ibom are furious about this circumstance, believing that Governor Umo Eno has betrayed the party and his predecessor, Emmanuel Udom, in order to build a stronger bond with Senate President Akpabio.
The chieftain went on, “Governor Eno has to explain to the PDP how this happened.” In order to assist him become governor, Udom made adversaries, including Akpabio, and it is already believed that he betrayed Udom. He ought to have handed them control over his own local government rather than selling off Essien Udim if he had to bargain with Tinubu, Akpabio, and the APC. This is just the start. Eno is endangering his prospects of being re-elected.
