
On Friday, October 11, the Inland Dry Port in Ogun State will have its foundation laid under the direction of Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, Minister of Marine and Blue Economy.
Situated on the Papalanto-Ewekoro axis of the state, at the location of the projected Dry Port City in Soderu Village, Itori, the port is a component of the state’s continuous endeavours to enhance industrialisation and economic growth in the Gateway State.
The Special Advisor on Media and Strategy, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, said in a statement that this historic occasion is in line with the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun’s dedication to promoting industrialisation and economic growth across the state of Ogun State.
Transport specialists, regulators, and policymakers, along with representatives from the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Nigerian Railway Corporation, Nigerian Shippers Council, Ogun State Shippers Association, goods forwarders, and other significant stakeholders, will be present at the ceremony.
