
At Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State, crude oil was being syphoned from the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company’s oil pipeline by a caravan registered under the registration number JJN 167 ZU Plateau, according to Nigerian Army troops from 6 Division.
Two individuals were also taken into custody by the military in relation to the suspected crime.
This was revealed in a statement provided to our correspondent in Warri by Lt. Col. Danjuma Jonah Danjuma, Acting Deputy Director, 6 Division Nigerian Army Public Relations.
“Two people have been arrested in connection with the crime,” he declared.
He continued, saying, “In follow-up operations, many other vehicles filled with stolen goods were intercepted at Obi Anyima Community in Ika South LGA and Ugo Community in Orhionmwon, Edo State.
