In order to promote infrastructure development in Nigeria, the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development has established a partnership with the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission.
This was made public on Monday in a press release that was signed by Odutayo Oluseyi, the Federal Ministry of Aviation’s head of press.
Public-private partnerships, according to Keyamo, are the most practical route for the nation’s infrastructure development.
“If Nigeria’s infrastructure is to improve, public-private partnerships are the best option,” stated Keyamo. In order to accelerate the partnership’s delivery, he disclosed plans to form a task force with a defined deadline.
The Minister said that if Nigeria’s infrastructure is to improve, public-private partnerships are the greatest option. To guarantee prompt delivery, a task force would be established to oversee the collaboration and set a deadline.
“He clarified that he encountered numerous lawsuits upon taking office as Minister, which he has resolved, and he encouraged ICRC to adhere to all legal procedures in their pursuit of Public-Private Partnerships,” he said.
Keyamo thanked the ICRC for starting the partnership and reiterated the Ministry’s dedication to completing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He declared, “We are dedicated to implementing the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.”
Keyamo received praise from Jobson Ewalefoh, the Director General of the ICRC, for his accomplishments in the aviation industry in a little period of time.
He gave an explanation of the meeting’s goal, which was to promote cooperation with the Ministry in order to upgrade infrastructure.
“We saw the Ministry of Aviation as a key ministry in advancing the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.” We have chosen to come to you because of your accomplishments, since your ministry plays a crucial role in propelling the nation’s economy, Ewalefoh stated.
The head of the ICRC highlighted that all administrative obstacles have been eliminated by the Commission, and he pledged to make further improvements.
He asserted that given the nation’s deteriorating infrastructure, PPP was imperative.
“This is the time to improve the aviation sector’s infrastructure, and we commend Mr. President for his commitment thus far. With the right infrastructure in place, we will attract many investors into Nigeria,” he continued.
