How We Murder Our Suspects and Sell Their Liver for N25,000 In a viral video, a teenage arrest in Lagos admits to trafficking in organs.

The young man, who was captured by bystanders in the state’s Ayobo region, stated that the gang sells a single kidney to a bidder for N25,000.

An unidentified adolescent has admitted to taking part in the harvesting of human organs in Lagos State.

The boy shown in a widely shared video claimed to have collaborated with several adult men who kill victims near Lagos’ Ayobo Junction in order to harvest their organs, especially kidneys, which are then sold to some “big men.”

Benjamin Hundeyin, the state police spokesperson, was reached but could not be reached to enquire about the status of the police investigation.

He had not returned our correspondent’s text message and did not return any of his calls.

In Nigeria, the harvesting of human organs has emerged as a troubling social issue, involving politicians and religious leaders in multiple incidents.

Ike Ekweremadu, a former Deputy Senate President, was accused of smuggling a 21-year-old Nigerian trader into the UK for kidney harvesting, making it one of the most horrifying incidents.

The man, who was allegedly treated like a slave, told British police about his ordeal and disclosed that he had been sleeping on the streets for three nights prior to going to Staines for assistance.

Laws both domestically and internationally have come under fire for not doing enough to deter these kinds of crimes. Indeed, specialists think that detrimental cultural customs and ineffective enforcement of current legislation are factors in the persistent issue.
