As troops continued to battle Hezbollah fighters in the region, the Israeli military issued a warning to the people living in south Lebanon on Saturday, telling them “not to return” to their homes.
Israeli military spokeswoman Avichay Adraee stated on X that Israeli soldiers are still “targeting Hezbollah posts in or near your villages.” “Remain away from your residences till further notice for your own safety. Avoid heading south, as it could endanger one’s life.
Adraee said in a different post that ambulances are being utilised by Hezbollah fighters, and she restated a previous request for medical personnel and teams operating in southern Lebanon to refrain from using them.
He declared, “We urge medical teams to stay away from Hezbollah members and to not work with them.”
The Israeli military, or IDF, declares that whatever vehicle—regardless of kind—carrying armed people will face the appropriate consequences.
Israel is still fighting Palestinian militants in Gaza, but it is fighting on multiple fronts.
The military has been heavily attacking northern Gaza in the last few days, especially in and around the city of Jabalia.
Adraee ordered the evacuation of people living in the vicinity of Sheikh Radwan, south of the Jabalia refugee camp, on Saturday.
Residents were told to relocate to the humanitarian zone in the southern portion of the strip by Adraee, who declared on X that “the specified area, including the shelters within it, is considered a dangerous combat zone.”
