Edo Police Verify Attack, Police Station Fire, Suspects Charged With Kidnapping, Murdering Locals To Harvest Organs

The source claims that the incident was sparked by accusations that certain suspected herdsmen were abducting and killing members of the village in order to harvest their organs, and that they were reportedly receiving police protection.

Anger-fueled community members attacked a police division and a few suspects at the Etsako East Local Government Area headquarters in Agenebode, according to the Edo State Police.

Moses Yamu, the Command’s public relations officer, confirmed the event to SaharaReporters on Monday. He stated that the incident occurred on Sunday when the assailants broke into the police station and set it on fire while also robbing several suspects who were allegedly responsible for abduction and murdering.

According to a police spokesperson, the police command is still looking into the incident and is unable to confirm the precise amount of damage done to the station, the number of suspects that were burned to death, or the claim that angry locals attacked the police station because they believed that suspects who had been apprehended for kidnapping and organ harvesting had been covered up.

I can attest to the fact that yesterday there was an attack on the Police Division at Agenebode in the Etsako East Local Government Area, resulting in the station being set on fire. However, everything are currently under control. Yamu stated, “We are still doing an on-the-spot and fact-finding assessment, and I will provide you with all the information when we are done. Some suspects of suspected kidnapping and murder were burned.

In the meanwhile, The PUNCH revealed that many people were slain and cars within the police station were set on fire, according to a community source who was aware of the occurrence.

The source claims that the incident was sparked by accusations that certain suspected herdsmen were abducting and killing members of the village in order to harvest their organs, and that they were purportedly receiving protection from the authorities.

According to the community source, “The case that started the issue was the story of a young boy who was allegedly kidnapped a few weeks ago and was still not released even after a ransom was paid.” Later on, it was found that he had been murdered.

After the community’s kids tracked down the phone, the owner was taken into custody and turned over to the police. The leader of the local Fulani community was identified as the user.

The youths, who seemed dissatisfied with the way the police were handling the situation, stormed the police station, took the suspect away, and then led him to the Fulani leader’s house, where, after being prodded, he allegedly confessed to them that a number of kidnapped victims had been killed and their bodies had been harvested and buried in shallow graves.

“The young man in the Fulani leader’s compound had escaped with his family, and the enraged youngsters dug up his rotting body. While doing so, they discovered many bones that they thought were human remains.

“The youths stormed the police station and set it on fire after burning down the building and several other Hausa/Fulani youths’ business centres.”

“Enough is enough,” a different community member was said to have said. This has to end.

“The cops murder our kids and take our money nonetheless. These kidnappers will kill our children after robbing them and taking their money. They would take N2.5 million or perhaps N3 million from us while still murdering the victims.
