Following the collapse of the national grid on Monday, DAILYPULSE had reported on Wednesday that the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) had declared that supply had been restored to the Abuja axis and other key distribution load centres countrywide.
This was revealed in a statement by Ndidi Mbah, General Manager of Public Affairs at TCN, who also mentioned that the national grid’s ongoing rehabilitation was nearly finished.
Monday’s meltdown of the national grid resulted in a widespread blackout, with distribution businesses announcing that their clients were without supplies.
TCN also verified the information, stating that on Monday, October 14, 2024, at around 6:48 p.m., there was a partial disruption to the national grid.
