
According to the top-secret documents, Israel is preparing a military reaction to Iran’s recent ballistic missile launch on October 1 by mobilising its armed forces.
The illegal disclosure of sensitive documents detailing Israel’s military plans for a prospective strike on Iran is being looked at by the US government.
Three U.S. officials who talked with the Associated Press said that a fourth source affirmed the authenticity of the papers, which were credited to the National Security Agency (NSA) and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

Interestingly, the files might be shared across members of the intelligence-sharing coalition known as the “Five Eyes,” which consists of the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Sensitive information was shared on the Telegram messaging service, which immediately raised worries about national security. This was first reported by CNN and Axios.
The investigation is looking into the origins of the leak, including whether it came from an intentional disclosure by someone within the U.S. intelligence community or if it was obtained through other means like hacking, according to officials who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the subject.
According to the AP, Israel has been advised by the United States to press for a cease-fire in Gaza in order to benefit from the death of Hamas commander Yahya Sinwar.
A larger regional crisis might result from Israel’s military activities in northern Lebanon, the United States has also firmly warned.
Nevertheless, the Israeli government has reaffirmed that it will take serious action in response to Iranian missile assaults.
The Pentagon released a statement acknowledging that it was aware of the stolen materials, but it made no more comments.
Enquiries about the two documents that were leaked have not yet received a response from the Israeli military. The documents were initially reported online on Friday, with a Telegram channel alleging that the leak came from inside the US intelligence community.
It appears that satellite image analysis was used to construct the data.
One of the leaked documents resembled materials from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency that were previously made public by Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira. Teixeira entered a guilty plea in March to charges of leaking highly classified military documents about Russia’s conflict in Ukraine and other matters pertaining to national security.
The leaker’s Telegram channel claims to be headquartered in Tehran, the capital of Iran. It has previously posted content with Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, as well as content endorsing Tehran’s so-called “Axis of Resistance,” which consists of militant groups in the Middle East armed by the Islamic Republic.
