During the present administration, the Lagos State Government is committed to making sure that all active housing projects are constructed to the highest standards.
When he recently took the ministry’s technical team on a tour of the current Lagos HOMS housing project at Ajara in Badary, Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, the Lagos State Commissioner for Housing, made this statement.
The commissioner declared, “The state government is committing to increasing the quantity of decent and high-quality homes that are available to Lagos State residents, especially those with low and moderate incomes.”
Upon examining the 420 residential units spread across 35 blocks, comprising diverse flat types, and engaging with contractors on the premises, he conveyed his contentment with the calibre and promptness demonstrated in project execution.
Additionally, he instructed the contractor to elevate any issues found so they could be resolved right away.
“The delivery time should be fulfilled as scheduled so that the ministry can commission the project and turn it over to the designated recipients,” he said. The contractors want to keep using high-quality building supplies that save homeowners money on upkeep and offer convenience to the homes.
The Lagos HOMS projects at Ajara, Badargy, according to Akinderu-Fatai, are intended to meet the residential needs of Lagosians living in the state’s Lagos West Senatorial District.
“All expectant home seekers in the state are all hands on deck to ensure that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s vision to substantially increase the housing stock for Lagosians is actualised,” the commissioner stated.
