Due to accusations made against the Deputy Senate Leader, Senator Oyelola Ashiru of the APC, Kwara South, the Senate has called General Buba Marwa, the Chairman of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, or NDLEA, to testify before it.
A six-member panel has been established by the Senate to invite all parties involved in the NDLEA’s claim that Senator Ashiru made derogatory remarks about the agency last week due to his inability to prevent the arrest and trial of some individuals discovered to be involved in drug misuse in his home.
