As he is ready for a difficult test against Arsenal, Arne Slot claims that his Liverpool squad is “matching his expectations” following their fantastic start to the season.
With seven victories in their first eight games, the Reds are leading the Premier League and have already won all three of their Champions League fixtures.
Slot leads his team against Arsenal on Sunday in an attempt to pull seven points clear of the Gunners.

“I didn’t have expectations coming in regarding the number of points we needed to have after one, two, three, or ten games,” he continued.
However, I had expectations about how I wanted to see the club play, and I believe that now aligns with those expectations.
