The “murder-for-hire” conspiracy led to the arrest of US rapper Lil Durk.

The well-known American rapper Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Banks, was allegedly detained Thursday night in Florida and accused with murder-for-hire.

According to XXL Magazine, Banks is now being detained at Broward County Jail without bond while he waits to be transferred to the U.S. Marshals.

Five other suspects were arrested earlier in the day on charges of murder-for-hire and conspiracy to conduct murder-for-hire, and the arrest comes after their incarceration.

The allegations are related to the 2022 shooting death of Saviay’a Robinson, a relative of rapper Quando Rondo, in Los Angeles.

The crime has been linked by authorities to current gang conflicts.

The other suspects were identified by federal authorities as Asa Houston, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, and Kavon London Grant.

According to WGN-TV, they claim that the suspects wanted to get revenge on Rondo for allegedly being involved in the 2020 murder of Chicago rapper King Von in Atlanta.

The music business has been rocked by Lil Durk’s arrest, and fans and legal experts are waiting for further information.

Federal investigators are still collecting evidence in this well-known case, therefore the inquiry is still ongoing.
