According to the Iranian military, Israel assaulted its military installations nationwide on Saturday morning, resulting in “limited damage” in several places.
According to state news agency IRNA, Israel “attacked parts of military centres in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam.” Iran’s “integrated air defence system” effectively detected and repulsed the attack.
According to IRNA, Iranian officials previously stated that air defences were set up “in several areas around Tehran and the country.”
The Israeli military “performed accurate strikes on Iranian military targets.”
Following reports of explosions heard in Tehran, a statement was released early on Saturday.
Iran has been “relentlessly attacking” Israel since October 7th “on seven fronts – including direct attacks from Iranian soil,” according to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), which stated the strikes are a retaliation.
