Vance claims that Trump wants NATO to be powerful.
He wants us to stay part of NATO. The vice presidential candidate for Trump, however, stated that he also wants NATO nations to bear their fair part of the defence burden.
In response to a journalist’s question regarding Trump’s plans, Vance stated that the US will continue to be a member of NATO.
He declared, “We would remain in NATO.”
Trump said that the United States will leave NATO.
French European Commissioner Thierry Breton claims that Trump said NATO was “dead” and pledged to leave the Alliance in 2020 when meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
You must realise that we will never come to your aid or support if Europe is being attacked. At the moment, Trump declared, “By the way, NATO is dead, and we will leave, we will quit NATO.”
On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the world will lose at least Poland and the Baltic nations if the United nations leaves NATO.
