According to Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage, women approach her more often than men do.

In an interview with Beat 99.9 FM, the 44-year-old singer revealed this and expressed her astonishment at the surprising trend.

“I don’t know why, but I get approached by a lot more women than men,” she remarked. I’m not exactly sure why.

Savage, who has faith in her skills, also responded to fans’ continuous debates about her place in the Afrobeats landscape. She made it clear that she believes she is a stronger force than men.

“Don’t get me started because I’m the big one if we were to compare talent for talent, mic for mic,” she said. You can’t see me on the mike if we remove the numbers—big three, whatever you want to assess.

“I apologise, but that’s the reality.”
