
At around 2:30 pm on Friday, the event that created a stir in the neighbourhood took place at “pantaker market” (also known as Scrab Market).
Sefilahi Danlami, a 19-year-old pantaker and scraps worker, was allegedly fatally murdered by his coworkers in Mpape, Bwari Area Council, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to a source who spoke to DAILYPULSE REPORT, Ibrahim Dahiru, who said the dead had stolen from him, set up several lads to assault him at the Pantaker market with hazardous weapons, where he was fatally stabbed.
“in 2:30 pm on Friday, Ibrahim Dahiru and a few other pantakers lads attacked Sefilahi Danlami in the pantaker market.
“Ibrahim which said Danlami stole from him gathered some boys to confront him with dangerous weapons at pantaker market and he was stabbed to death,” stated a source.
On Saturday, SaharaReporters received confirmation of the event from Josephine Adeh, the spokeswoman for the FCT Police Command.
She stated that investigations are still being conducted to determine the incident’s details, but that one suspect, Ibrahim Dahiru, 22, has been taken into custody.
At Panteka market in Mpape of the FCT, there is a case of culpable murder, she stated. On November 1, 2024, the FCT Police Command’s Mpape Police division got a distress call. After police officers arrived on the scene, a 22-year-old suspect named Ibrahim Dahiru was taken into custody.
According to preliminary investigations, the suspect killed 19-year-old Sefilahi Danlami “m” by attacking him with seven (7) of his buddies who are presently on the loose. The circumstances of the event are currently being investigated, and updates will be provided when they become available.
