Fire damages products valued at millions of Naira at Lagos’s Ajah market.

A fire that started at Ajah Market, next to Alesh Bus Stop, in the Lekki neighbourhood of Lagos State on Sunday night resulted in the terrible destruction of millions of naira’s worth of products and things.

According to reports, the fire broke out at approximately 9 p.m. and destroyed a number of establishments that held flammable goods.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services worked together to quickly control the fire, according to Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, the agency’s permanent secretary. But as of right now, the source of the fire is still unknown.

Since the market was closed on Sunday, traders were not there, so thankfully there were no injuries or casualties.

According to Oke-Osanyintolu, “the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service and the LASEMA Response Team were able to stop the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.” “Efforts are underway to salvage remaining valuables and completely extinguish the fire.”
