Seven new ministers are sworn in by Tinubu.

Tinubu installs seven new ministries.

At the State House’s Council Chamber in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu swore in seven new ministers to his cabinet.

This comes after the Senate confirmed each of the seven nominees on Thursday after they were individually reviewed.

Following the reading of their citations by State House Director of Information Abiodun Oladunjoye, the new cabinet members took the oath of office in two batches, consisting of four in the first batch and three in the second.

Idi Maiha, Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Ata, Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad, Minister of State, Education; and Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Minister of State, Foreign Affairs, are the first four appointees.

Then, in front of the president, Muhammadu Dingyadi, the minister of labour and employment; Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, the minister of industry, trade, and investment; and Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, the minister of humanitarian affairs and poverty reduction, took their oaths.

In a significant cabinet reorganisation on October 23, Tinubu proposed seven new ministers to be confirmed by the Senate, sacked five others, and authorised the transfer of ten ministers to new ministries.
