Mercy Aigbe, a well-known Nollywood actress and filmmaker, has discussed her reasons for marrying well-known movie marketer Kazim Adeoti, better known by his stage name Adekaz.

In an interview with Nollywood on Radio, Aigbe disclosed that having a partner in the entertainment sector had a big role in her decision.

We work in the same field, which is one of the reasons I married him’, Aigbe said. We’re constructing an industrial empire together. I simply thought that I needed an industry partner to work with, and it’s fortunate that he shares that sentiment. When we combine our strengths, the future appears bright.

Aigbe’s successful cinematic debut in 2023, Ada Omo Daddy, has already demonstrated the chemistry between her and Adeoti. As she considered how the project was received, she remarked, “The feedback was amazing.” Since it was my first time at the movies and there was fierce competition from well-known brands, I was a little anxious. But I knew I had a product that could be sold, so I felt secure.

Aigbe went on to say that she plans to be active on all platforms where she may earn money.

“I’ll be on all platforms where I can earn money, not just in movie theatres.”
