ABUJA: Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has been advised by Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media to Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Lere Olayinka to abandon his goal of leading the nation in 2027, claiming that the 2023 PDP presidential candidate was not meant to be the nation’s leader.
“The PDP presidential ticket will no longer be available to be wasted by serial betrayals of the party, who are obviously suffering the consequences of their past sins against the party and its members,” Olayinka said in a statement yesterday in Abuja.

“Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and those cheering him on for their own benefits should let the PDP breathe,” Olayinka added, insisting that Atiku abandon the idea of running for president in 2027 as a PDP candidate.
During a live media roundtable in his Abuja office on Wednesday, FCT Minister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike stated that Atiku, the PDP’s 2023 presidential contender, would not have any chance of winning the party’s ticket in 2027.
Atiku responded by referencing his defeat of Wike to select the 2023 PDP presidential ticket and the emergence of former Sokoto State governor Aminu Tambuwal as the 2019 candidate through his media assistant, Phrank Shaibu.
Atiku’s “celebration of his narrow and fraudulent defeat of Wike in the 2022 PDP primary was funny and childish,” according to Olayinka’s statement yesterday, adding that “it is like Arsenal fans jumping to the rooftops to celebrate the club’s narrow defeat of Super Falcons.”
“The more Atiku is venerating himself for running on the PDP ticket alongside Wike and Tambuwal, who were only slightly older than 25 in 1993 when he ran for president in the Social Democratic Party’s SDP presidential primary and finished third, the more he should go home, rest, and stop acting like the proverbial cock that didn’t realise it was old,” he said.
“It is evident that he (Atiku) is paying the price of betraying the PDP in 2003, 2007, and 2014,” Olayinka stated, characterising Atiku as someone who was not meant to be president of Nigeria. If he hadn’t been overly ambitious when serving as vice president, he could have easily won the same presidency that he has run for twice and lost.
This desperation led him to run for president in 2007 as an Action Congress candidate while still holding the position of vice president, which he won on the PDP’s platform. A current vice president joins forces with others to start a new party and runs against his own party as its candidate.
The person is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
“Most significantly, Atiku’s conscience will still ache over his actions in Lagos in 2023, and I have no doubt that even his 2018 apologies to PDP members won’t be able to take that garment of treachery off of him.
Olayinka continued, “Therefore, it is being repeated to him and to those who are deceiving him that he is the only candidate for the PDP presidency and that the party’s ticket will not be for someone like him, who will lose the election and run to Dubai, only to return two years later for another election.”
2027: A new political party forms and promises to depose Tinubu

Abuja The Allied Conservative Congress, or ACC, is a new political movement that has arisen in Abuja with the goal of overthrowing the existing administration and addressing Nigeria’s problems.
Alhaji Mohammed Lawal, the National Secretary, gave a speech yesterday at the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja, outlining the movement’s conservative outlook and dedication to reviving Nigerian governance.
He claims that ACC aims to offer a new conservative option in the political sphere before to the 2027 elections, emphasising the restoration of economic prosperity, equality, and national security via conservative ideals.
The movement’s members contended that Nigeria’s existing government had left the country in a state of poverty, uncertainty, and chaos, which fuelled the populace’s intense yearning for change.
They explained that the ACC was founded in reaction to what they see to be the shortcomings of the progressivism that now rules Nigerian politics.
The movement emphasised the importance of morality, the rule of law, and patriotism for Nigeria’s future and called for a return to the principles of the First Republic.
In order to maintain democracy and guarantee justice, it also advocated for a reform of the judiciary and voiced worries about the decline in public confidence in it.
Mohammed said that the movement, which has gained support from people of all political persuasions, was attempting to get the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, to register it as a legitimate political party.
Nigerians’ desire for true democracy, excellent governance, the rule of law, national security, economic prosperity, equity, and morality in our national life gave rise to the Allied Conservative Congress, he stated.
Things have collapsed today; the country is in terrible shape. Most politicians and individuals lack the patriotism that kept the country together. As the Nigerian state’s ship floats on its precarious course, tossed around by poverty and insecurity, there is confusion in governance.
In order to protect Nigeria from self-serving politicians posing as Democrats, ACC is on a rescue mission. Partisan politics and self-interest should never take precedence over the national interest.
Participatory democracy, in which people’s opinions are heard and their votes are taken into consideration for the final outcome, cannot be replaced.
Nigerians are fed up with the country’s traditional political parties (APC, PDP, and LP) since they have nothing fresh to offer and are all singing the same old tunes. True patriotism and new ideas are what we are bringing. It appears that the current administration has run out of ideas given the state of economic hardship and instability. Although we have our own opinions, we are keeping them to ourselves.
Regarding the necessity of judicial reforms, he stated: “It is regrettable that repeated miscarriages of justice have been undermining Nigerians’ faith in the court, making a mockery of the country’s legal system. It is impossible to overstate how urgently the judiciary needs to be overhauled.
