“As you are already aware, I had been preparing my films, and following the day’s editing, I went ahead and saw Gladiator 11 with the Academy Voting Members. yet I was unable to sit up during the entire viewing. You see, I had previously been taken to the emergency room twice that week due to severe chest and back pain that would subside the following day! The physicians were looking for severe acid reflux and my now-existing HBP! The doctor gave me all the drips and blood tests on my second stay, and then sent me home to take care of myself. Fortunately, it went away.
But after the film, I was aware that Denzel and Ridley Scott would not be speaking today. I had to leave! I puked all night long till I had nothing left to vomit. The most excruciating stomach ache began in the morning, and I was taken to the emergency room for the third time! I was wheeled in for an MRI, CT scan, and ultrasound this time. Then the physician arrived and ordered you to come in right away for surgery to remove your ball-gladder! The physicians wondered how I wasn’t in more agony because it was so dilated. More suffering?
So I started fighting for my life, and now I’m coming back to give God all the praise. There is a lot to be grateful for on this day, whether you live in the US or not. Take a moment to join in and express your gratitude. the gift of good health in addition to the gift of life. the blessing of a whole body or the capacity to think clearly enough to hope for a brighter day.
