According to locals, she targets girls who visit her store and is part of a network that traffics women throughout the nation.
She offered to make arrangements for the girls to leave the country when they arrived to create garments for her. According to a source, she convinced them and conjured up images in their minds.
According to sources who spoke to Vanguard, the woman enlisted a number of local adolescent girls for syndicates that smuggle them into nearby African nations for prostitution.
Ovo, a local resident, claims that she deceived the girls by claiming to have connections abroad that would help them find decent employment.
Since some parents have been pressuring her to produce their girls, her arrest was not shocking. Before setting out on the adventure, one girl in particular confided in a family member. Ovo continued, “She informed the family member that the woman was the one who connected her to the individuals she was travelling with.”
The woman was taken to the police headquarters for additional questioning, according to a police source at the Abraka police division who verified the arrest to the Vanguard.
