In a Telegram post, Zelensky said, “Thousands of these kinds of strikes by Russia during this war make it very clear that Putin does not want real peace.”

Ivan Fedorov, the governor of Zaporizhzhya, said that a Russian attack had set fire to a car garage and service station. He posted pictures of the fire that was raging and the broken-down cars that were lying across the street.

The state emergency services agency said that 16 more people, including a child, were hurt in the attack on Kryvyi Rig.
The agency said on Telegram that the attack damaged or destroyed a three-story building, as well as homes and cars.
A top official from Ukraine told AFP that Zelensky will go to Paris this weekend to see the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral.
He wants to meet with Donald Trump, who will be president-elect of the US, there.
Trump doesn’t believe that the US should help Kyiv, and he has promised to end the war within 24 hours of taking office, but he hasn’t said how he plans to do it yet.
Many times, Zelensky has said that Ukraine would not be able to stop Russia’s troops without help from the US. People in Kyiv are afraid that Trump will try to force them to agree to peace terms that are good for Russia.
